So we advise all users to always take care during an exchange. The best thing to do is, have a look at the user's recycling profile, if they have used ReuseMoose before, chances are likely they are a person with good intentions. If we received a genuine complaint about that user we would probably have blocked them already. We are aware of the fact that some people that look for free stuff haven't yet given something. With ReuseMoose we have taken the approach that it is up to you, the giver, to decide who to give to. You can see on the user's profile what their previous recycling activity has been. We have taken the approach that in order for an item to change hands, there needs to be a giver and a taker, so there is no process to go through to get started. There will always be people that only ever take and this is so even on Freecycle, where they have moderators to make sure there aren't. Hopefully ReuseMoose provides you with enough information to be able to decide whether you want to give your item.
